Visualization
In the app3D Profile View
A vertical profile of your route against terrain and airspace in 3D — spot the ridgeline, the airspace shelf, and the descent point before you get there.
What it is
The profile view renders your route as a 3D scene: terrain elevation as a mesh, your flight path above it, and airspace clipped to a corridor around the route. Toggle between a scrollable 2D strip and the full 3D mesh, and scrub along the route to preview terrain clearance and where airspace bites into your path.
Key capabilities
- Your route flown against a 3D terrain mesh
- 2D strip or full 3D mesh — your choice
- Airspace and obstacles clipped to a corridor around your route
- Terrain-following path preview at your chosen AGL
- Scrub the route with playback and speed control
- Built into route planning, briefing, and logbook review
In the cockpit
Before you launch, walk the profile — the terrain and airspace along the route are right there in elevation.
